On Saturday, May 4, Yecla will host the IV Regional Meeting of Reading Clubs under the motto 'In vino veritas: passion for books'.
The central acts will take place in the 'Pablo Corbalán' auditorium of the Municipal House of Culture.
The opening of the meeting will take place at 10:00 hours;
the general director of Cultural Assets, Juan Antonio Lorca, the councilor of culture of the City Council of Yecla, Jesús Verdú, the director of the Regional Library of Murcia, Juan Carlos Argente, and the director of the Municipal House of Culture of Yecla, Liborio will take part Ruiz.
At 10:15 a round table will take place with the participation of the writer Jerónimo Tristante, the literary critic José Belmonte, the coordinator of reading clubs in the library of Caudete (Albacete), Cande Fausto and the coordinator of reading clubs of the municipal library of Yecla, María Martínez.
At 11:15 a coffee break will be held.
From 11:45 the program will be resumed with the conference 'Reading clubs, dynamic agents of libraries' by Ángel Salcedo, who together with María Martínez will also be responsible for the storytelling scheduled for 12:15.
After this activity the witness will be handed over to the next organizing city.
The literary route 'Azorín y Yecla' will begin at 1:00 p.m. until 2:30 p.m., when it will be eaten at Restaurante Aurora.
At 5:00 pm we will visit a winery with wine tasting included- and we will read fragments of the work 'El tema del vino en la lírica española' by Miguel Ortuño.
The IV Regional Meeting of Reading Clubs is organized by the Department of Culture of the City of Yecla, the Municipal House of Culture of Yecla, the archaeological museum 'Cayetano de Mergelina' and the Regional Library of Murcia.
