On Friday, June 28 Yecla will host the time trial of the Spanish Road Cycling Championship organized by the Royal Spanish Cycling Federation and the Cycling Federation of the Region of Murcia.
The exit and the goal will be located in Avenida de la Feria between the roundabouts of Valencia Street and the Furniture Fair, being the route through the north round and the Almansa road.
From 10:00 hours the sub-23 categories of men and women and the female elite will compete, all of them with a route of 21.6 km.
At 16:30 hours will start the men's elite time trial, in this case with 39.4 km.

The Councilor for Sports, Pedro Romero, stressed that Yecla will meet "the best cyclists in Spain such as Alejandro Valverde, Jonathan Castroviejo or the Izagirre brothers" and has asked for understanding of the specific traffic cuts and parking bans.
"Alternatives will be enabled for drivers on service roads," he assured.
Pedro Romero thanked the Royal Spanish Cycling Federation and the Cycling Federation of the Region of Murcia for allowing Yecla to host a sporting event of this caliber and invited the public to come to enjoy the various events.
