The PSOE meets tonight to former mayors to analyze in depth the current situation of Yecla (19/04/2016)

The Socialists also will feature the regional deputy Jesus Navarro to address future challenges that need Yecla and highlight that the socialist mayoral achieved great advances in our town laying the groundwork to evolve from town to town

The PSOE this afternoon out will lead a council of mayors, which has summoned the socialist mayors of Yecla in democracy with the aim of analyzing from the perspective of experience and municipal management major future challenges that need our city.

This meeting, which will lead the Secretary General Juan Jimenez and the city spokesman, Asun Molina, also will feature the regional deputy Jesus Navarro, Head of the PSOE-RM municipal policy and Calasparra mayor from 2003 to 2014.

Juan Jimenez reported that this meeting is included in the agenda of contacts with social partners, institutions and associations in the municipality to lead the socioeconomic pulse and translate into initiatives that improve in all sectors in both the City Council and the Regional Assembly or Parliament.

"This work will be tireless, as we have done in recent days meeting with institutions of wood, collectives education, environmental groups or associations working in the social sector. We understand that the consequences of the crisis has led to serious problems for Yecla, and although we are experiencing a gradual improvement in the situation, much more impetus to productive sectors is needed and there are still many people in our town who are really going wrong by rising inequality and poverty ".

In this regard, Jimenez recalled the outstanding management of the socialist mayors of Yecla, who managed the transition from village to city.

"First promoting basic issues such as sewers, paving and landscaping around the town, promoting maximum support to economic sectors with CETEM or the Regulatory Center Designation of Origin, building key infrastructure in education or health as most public schools, the People's University or the first health center, besides achieving the Hospital in greater citizen mobilization recalled in the municipality, rehabilitation for culture Auditorium, the Concha Segura Theatre and the Plaza de Toros, or other achievements such as in sports matters where they began to develop the facilities being the local reference indoor pool at the time, and the strong rise of parties applying more imagination than money, contrary to what happens now.

Finally, Juan Jimenez hopes that "we will defend and hopefully not have to see steps back on achievements of socialist mayors as the Center for Adult Education or the Center Hemodialysis were very important and that are critical to thousands of yeclanos".
