The HOAc Friday in Yecla presents the book "The dignity of the person and the common good" (26/04/2016)

The book will be presented by its editor, Francisco Porcar, and also speak on yeclano journalist Pedro J. Navarro

The Workers Brotherhood of Catholic Action (HOAc), an apostolic movement with presence of militants in Murcia, Cartagena, Molina de Segura, Sewer and Yecla, has organized for next Friday, April 29, in the Parroquia de San José Obrero de Yecla the presentation of the book "the dignity of the person and the common good".

This activity is included in the events organized on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Parish of St. Joseph the Worker, which has virtually since its inception had the presence of groups of HOAc.

The presentation of the latest book published by Editions HOAc borne by its publisher, Francisco Porcar Rebollar, militant HOAc of the Diocese of Segorbe-Castellón, Vall de Uxó degree in History and Religious Studies.

He has been general manager of Training HOAc and chief of the magazine "Noticias Obreras".

Collaborates with the Department of Pastoral Workers of the Spanish Episcopal Conference.

Currently a member of the Working Group on Education and Training Deputy Permanent Commission of HOAc.

Share your commitment to political activism, and on several occasions has been municipal councilor in Vall de Uxó (Castellón).

The event will also address the yeclano journalist Pedro J. Navarro, who is also a member of HOAc and currently plays his professional activities in the Municipal Group PSOE in the city of Murcia.

This book, which is subtitled "A contribution to the dialogue from the Social Doctrine of the Church" wants to be a contribution to the dialogue on the need to create a new political culture from the perspective of the common good and justice.

It offers both Christians and ecclesial communities for reflection, concreteness and practical experience, as well as people and nonbelievers groups, since it is a proposal built from the search for an integral humanism and from what he has involve life and political action.

The content is divided into three parts.

The first, the fight against poverty, the main problem of our society, which needs the politics of the common good.

The second, the fundamental characteristics of a political community action for the common good.

And finally, the explication of what should be the economy for the common good, understanding that the economy is a dimension of life and political action, not something out of it.

Along with the introductory texts of each chapter and references to the Social Doctrine of the Church, at the end of each working a script so that it can be used for both personal reflection and group appears.
