Yecla Mayor, Juan Miguel Benedito, has received the President of the Hydrographic Confederation of Segura (CHS), Charo Quesada, the authorization of the basin for the City Council conduct a new well deeper than the existing two, with the objective of ensuring urban water supply to the population of Yecla and avoid, in this way, the restrictions suffered by the municipality.
In this way, the City of Yecla urban water supply will be guaranteed without the need to extract more water than was removed so far (nearly 3 cubic hectometres).
The Mayor reported that the works are well advanced, so in a few dates will make the connection from the new well to the general supply to the city.
At the meeting held at the headquarters of the CHS, the Mayor was accompanied by the spokespersons of the local Municipal Corporation
