The mayor delivered on Thursday to asylum food collected in the campaign to promote public markets (22/03/2011)

The mayor, Juan Miguel Benedito, accompanied by the Councillor for Public Services, Antonio Puche, delivered on Thursday in the nursing home food collected in the last municipal campaign to promote public markets.

During the month of December, the council's Public Services division launched a campaign of heavy duty reusable bags in public markets pursued four distinct goals: the promotion of purchases in these facilities, environmental protection, promoting municipal public services and assistance to asylum Yecla.

These bags are provided exclusively to clients of the two municipal markets in exchange for 0.5 euros each.

With the money the traders have prepared a large batch of products is delivered to the mayor on Thursday at 12.00 to asylum Yecla.

To promote shopping in these stores the bags included a theme on which we remember the service provided by the municipal markets.

Background also had printed a series of messages that also promotes the proper use of public services the City: the use of paper, recycling rubbish, saving water and energy and the use of public transport .

These bags, which are made of raffia, a fiber woven thick and high strength, and have two heavy bags, were designed to be reused.
