Under current spending, employment policies and maintenance of citizen services (10/02/2012)

The Mayor of Yecla, Mark Ortuño, accompanied by the Councillor of Finance, Alejandro Palao presented the draft municipal budget for 2012 amounting to 25,900,000 euros, an increase of less than one percent from the year 2011

The Mayor has stated that "the City of Yecla is no stranger to the economic difficulties we are all going through what these budgets comply with the principle of budgetary stability, not spending more than what is entered."

As for the salient features of this draft budget 2012 the Mayor has stressed that are reduced by more than half a million euros in current expenditure, negotiating contracts downward of different municipal services, while maintaining the same services.

The main investments will be the new bioclimatic building in the project "Yecla Rate" improvements in electric lighting, to reduce consumption and the municipal contribution to the start of construction of the Church of San Francisco.

Third, Ortuño Marcos stressed that this contribution will increase by 40%, to carry out active employment policies.
