Workshops for caregivers of dependents (16/05/2012)

Televida taught these workshops, which are conducted with the support of IMAS (Murcian Institute of Social Action) and are included within the new caregiver support program, have as their objectives to care for the caregiver, offering techniques to facilitate their work, train and inform caregiver in caring for the dependent person and serve as a meeting with Social Services professionals and other caregivers.

In addition, they become the perfect excuse for them to put a face to the TSR with that contact whenever they or people they serve have a problem.

These training and support meetings are part of the Caregiver Support Program of the Region of Murcia, intended to provide for dependents and, above all, their caregivers, the means to improve their quality of life.

Participants: 25 Carers of dependent people, who in principle due to the level of care that require their greatest burden dependent physical, mental and emotional.

Duration: Two sessions of 2 hours, taught in two consecutive weeks.
