"The Country of the Blind" by Claudio Cerda, a finalist for the prestigious Award for Best Novel Novelpol Black (23/05/2012)

The play "The Country of the Blind", the writer Claudio Yeclano Cerdan, is a finalist for Best Novel of 2011 in the prestigious "Novelpol" one of the most important national scene devoted to black genre.

The author Murcia competing finalists for the award with names such as Carlos Salem (Silverio Cañada Prize), Juan Ramon Biedma (Hammett Prize), and Alejandro Gallo (Prize City of Getafe).

In previous years have found writers like Don Winslow with "The power of the dog" or Ken Bruen with "Timbers."

Claudio and was finalist for "Language of Cloth" with the same novel.

"The Country of the Blind" has been very successful with audiences and critics that is reinforced with this important recognition.

It tells the misadventures of "The Eye", a hit man who returns to the streets after spending five years in prison.

Traffickers, revenge and murder come together in this novel that leaves the reader breathless.
