Yecla, township entrepreneur (08/10/2012)

Yecla Mayor, Councillor Mark Ortuño and Universities, Business and Research, José Ballesta have proceeded to sign the cooperation agreement for the implementation of actions to promote unique local entrepreneurship, business creation and business development: "Town Entrepreneur ".

The agreement aims to promote and facilitate the birth and consolidation of business activities in the framework of the "Town Entrepreneur".

This will develop a package of concrete measures in the field of entrepreneurship and business development in the town of Yecla.

The Minister of Universities, Business and Research, José Ballesta has stressed that the label of "entrepreneurial city" is acquired when credited an effort to promote entrepreneurship in their municipality, as has happened in Yecla.

This agreement will translate into 55 concrete steps, through eight different areas of action: measures to promote entrepreneurship in society, self identifying potential niches in the municipal environment, identification and training of entrepreneurs and businessmen, municipal fiscal stimulus in starting new businesses, administrative simplification and streamlining and reduction procedures for the implementation and consolidation of business activities.

It also includes the promotion and reinforcement of their own or other infrastructure that can accommodate activities at an early stage on favorable terms, integrated into the Regional Incubator Network, the identification and valuation of existing enterprise infrastructures and development activities supporting tissue business and potential entrepreneurs through various instruments and also through its integration into the Red Point SMEs.

The Mayor of Yecla, Mark Ortuño, stressed that "the agreement is to give continuity to the actions that are taking the City of Yecla in employment and training. Entrepreneurship We are aware of the productive and industrial and commercial of our city . therefore includes a number of measures to boost local economic growth associated with an improvement in the competitiveness and productivity of small and medium enterprises, as may be a simplification in the administrative or fiscal aids "

She also pointed out that the Department of Employment and Training, through the Local Development Centre, has promoted job training and guidance to entrepreneurs and self-employed accounted for in the first half of the year a total of 126 consultations and the implementation of 15 business projects.

Moreover carried out active employment policies, which includes a training program, in the second quarter of 2012 has led to five training activities, involving a range of over 130 hours of training for 200 people.
