The HOAC Yecla commemorated the 50th Anniversary of Guillermo Rovirosa with a talk about its founder (17/03/2014)

The Workers Guild of Catholic Action (HOAc) of the Diocese of Cartagena, an apostolic movement with presence of militants involved in various social realities of the working world in Murcia, Cartagena, Molina de Segura, Sewer, Cieza and Yecla, has organized various activities to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the death of William Rovirosa, promoter of this apostolic movement and considered an apostle of the working class.

For Yecla, on Tuesday March 18, at 9 pm, the doctor in History and militant HOAC of Murcia, Vasilisa López García, will deliver a lecture on "William Rovirosa, apostle of the working class" .

The talk will take place in the Parish of St. Obrero (Esteban Diaz Street), one of the activities organized by the parish.

Vasilisa Lopez is the author of Approaching the history of HOAC.

Some facts about William Rovirosa

Guillermo Rovirosa Albet (Villanueva and Geltrú, Barcelona, ​​1897 - † Madrid, February 27, 1964) was a militant labor union and Christian Spanish, which became the main driver of the Labor Guild of Catholic Action.
