The president of the Community, Alberto Garre, received today the President of the Murcia Regional Association of Woodworkers (Arema), Francisco Lax, accompanied by Vice President Pedro Arcas, and general secretary, Patricia Cuadrillero.

In this institutional meeting, the board of the association presented President Alberto Garre the main lines of work of this business organization, one of the largest in the region and Spain in the furniture and wood industry, and has some 1,200 member companies employ more than 7,000 workers.

One of the main objectives of this year, said its president, is to maintain the growth of exports and boost the 'Contract' project in the next Yecla Furniture Fair to be held next September.

'Contract' is an interesting project to revitalize the Furniture Fair, aimed at architects, designers, interior designers and comprehensive facilities large installations.

In this sense, indicated that the Region of Murcia can they offer such services as any other area of ​​Spain, as there are very few kilometers customers can find all types of companies required to complete equipment for its facilities such as hotels or residences .
