Arema continues to meet the regional executive to the complicated situation being experienced by their companies (03/06/2014)

Today, June 2, Francisco and Pedro Lax Arcas, respectively President and Vice President of the Regional Association of Wood and Furniture held a meeting with the Minister of Presidency and Employment Mr Jose Gabriel Ruiz.

The meeting, held at the Palacio de San Esteban, also attended Alejandro Zamora Director of Regional Employment and Training and Secretary of AREMA Patricia Cuadrillero.

Among the various topics are continued to emphasize the need to stimulate demand for domestic consumption through Habitat Renovation Plans.

Administrative simplification, the compensation of debts, subsidies to hiring over 45 years of industry surplus by the crisis, in addition to support the modification of the system of units in furniture stores and streamlining inspections were several the issues addressed by the business side.

The realization of the importance given its high level of employment and the real future of the sector are variables that the Association during his visit to the various Ministries strives to highlight.

Industrialization as the key to job creation is basic in our region, and that the sector and its entrepreneurs have much to say.

Directors are interested in the stable high employment generated by the sector and consulting with the Association to explore the possibility of launching a market study to facilitate entrepreneurs to find new areas of marketing.

In the words of Peter Arcas "is fine support entrepreneurs, we fully agree, but we urge the administration to ensure companies with a track record of years that are consolidated but given the situation, they also need support"
