Found a bust of the Emperor Hadrian in the Roman town of Yecla Torrejones (05/02/2015)

The finding was presented at the Archaeological Museum of Murcia, with the assistance of the Minister of Education, Culture and Universities, Pedro Antonio Sánchez, and the Mayor of Yecla, Marcos Ortuño, accompanied by the director of the Municipal Archaeological Museum, Liborio Ruiz.

The director of the Archaeological Museum of Yecla, and director of the excavations, Liborio Ruiz, explained that the piece has "an excellent state of preservation, 52 cm. High by 25 cm. Keeps head slightly skewed to the left, with bearded face and curly hair, acquiring the forehead area one aspect of aura ".

The director of excavations indicated that the piece "could have a cultural function of a public nature, related to the cult of the emperor. Presentation and open houses in Yecla
