The federation of associations of parents of students at educational establishment of the Autonomous Community of Murcia (CONCAPAN) has awarded the City of Yecla the X Prize for freedom of education 2008, according to Mayor informed the President of this association Javier Cebrián del Pozo.

These awards are intended to distinguish those institutions, media or individuals that Hayam pointed out in his career as a guarantor of freedom of education in our region.

The award ceremony will take place on Friday 30 January at 19.00 pm in the Auditorium of the Colegio Santa Joaquina de Vedruna of Murcia.
