Opens the deadline to apply for grants for the promotion of business initiatives by women (03/07/2009)

The Ministry of Social Policy, Women and Immigration through the Institute of Women of the Region of Murcia, released last June 30, 2009 the Order which call for subsidies aimed at promoting business start-up promoted and managed exclusively by women in the Region of Murcia.

The deadline to apply for those grants will remain open until July 17, 2009, and between the requirements that must be carried out are mainly individual women entrepreneurs, whose activities have established in the Region of Murcia and that business has started, as maximum of 1 January 2008.

These grants may be used for certain expenses incurred as a result of the implementation of that business and promotion expenses related, and may also be eligible expenses incurred for the design and development of corporate image, actions and campaigns promotion and / or communication of the company, and the running costs, including rental of premises, telephone, electricity and water.

In no event shall be eligible costs of investment in real or personal property of the company.

From the Local Employment Center for Women's Hall of Yecla, belonging to the Department of Employment and Training, is being made the information campaign and direct broadcast among women entrepreneurs who are part of the Database Local Employment Centre Women, without prejudice to any individual woman entrepreneur can access these grants.

Local Employment Center for Women, located on the first floor of the City of Yecla, provide notice within a comprehensive service of advice, information and processing aid to all those women who wish to apply, in the opening hours groups, established from 10.30 to 14.0 hours, Monday through Friday.

The Councillor for Employment and Training, Guadalupe Santa notes that "in a month, unemployment has increased, unfortunately, in our city, reaching a total of 3,349 unemployed.

This means that more unemployed, 54 women and 13 men unemployed longer.

The difference in unemployment by gender shows that it is absolutely necessary to continue to encourage women entrepreneurs, providing all the resources that enable the viability and continuity of business in our town. "
