The Director General of Planning and Housing Department of Public Works and Planning, Antonio Navarro, this week held a meeting with the residents of the mountain environment of Santa Barbara and the Castillo de Yecla to promote the declaration of this area of town oldest of the town as Area Comprehensive Rehabilitation (ARI).

The area is bounded on the west by the streets Antonio Ortega, Juan XXIII and Historian Jiménez Rubio, south to the streets Algeciras, Tetouan and the edge of Cerro del Castillo, Jumilla Street east and north of Calle Lepanto.

This action is part of the work carried out by the regional government to revitalize those areas with the greatest needs of municipalities and to promote socioeconomic development in these areas, under the Housing Plan.
