In the Region, the points are concentrated mainly in Murcia and Cartagena, although neighboring towns such as Jumilla, Villena, Elda or Pinoso have at least one.
More and more cities are betting on installing charging points for electric vehicles.
However, Yecla have not arrived yet.
As we all know, this type of vehicle does not produce emissions to the atmosphere, so it is much more ecological and sustainable.
In addition, cities such as Zaragoza have not only installed charging points, but also the supply comes from renewable energy companies, thus achieving a maximum of sustainability.
In the Region of Murcia, the highest concentration of recharging points is in Murcia and Cartagena, although in locations such as Fortuna, Abanilla, Molina de Segura or Jumilla, there is at least one loading point.
Something that also happens in neighboring towns such as Villena, Elda or Pinoso, as can be seen in the website electromaps.com.
In the plenary session of November 2017, an agreement was also reached to reduce the rate for the use of this type of vehicle, but if its use is not encouraged, that agreement will be of little use.
And the reality is that in Yecla there is no recharging point, which makes the acquisition of these electric cars difficult.
It should also be remembered that there are some help lines that municipalities can use to purchase electric vehicles or install recharging points in cities.
These are the so-called subsidies of the MOVEA plan or the MOVALT plan, of which several municipalities have benefited and which are included in the General State Budget as Alternative Energy Vehicles (VEA), whose output is scheduled for the last quarter of this year.
Our city council therefore would have to act quickly and propose a project to achieve this type of aid, and more taking into account that
run out in a short time.
Likewise, we should also bet on the renewal of the vehicles used by this municipality to others of zero emission.
From the Municipal Group of United Left-Greens we are convinced that this initiative would serve for future calls for aid and more taking into account the compliance that is marked from Europe of emission reduction for the year 2020. On the other hand, we could adapt the Plan Sustainable Urban Mobility PMUS and include the establishment of these recharging points, as Zaragoza has done.
