This Tuesday has taken place the next appointment with the Running Challenge 2018/19.
Bodegas Castaño has hosted the presentation of the XII People's Race "Ciudad de Yecla" Pedro Muñoz Memorial "EL CALERO", with the assistance among others of the Councilor for Sports of the City of Yecla, Pedro Romero, as well as the president of ADA Yeclano , José Andrés Santa;
the vice president of the Athletics Federation of the Region of Murcia, Pruden Guerrero, as well as different representatives of collaborating groups in this edition such as Kapaces, Cáritas and AMPY.
There they have known all the details of the appointment to celebrate this Sunday, April 7, starting at 9:00 am.
the absolute short distance, over a distance of 4.3km., starting at 10: 00h.
10km., with that circuit approved by the RFEA in said distance, which will also be the 13th scoring event of the RCH 2018/19.
After the completion of the absolute tests will take place the solidary mile, as well as the tests for minors, all with exit and finish in the vicinity of the Parque de la Constitución.
As it has been shown in the presentation, it is a new edition full of novelties, the first of which is the change of date, passing from the beginning of October to the month of April.
It is also worth noting the modification of the day from Saturday afternoon to Sunday morning, for particularly sensitive issues in terms of traffic.
Also among the novelties of this year is the mile, which will start at 12: 00h and will be in solidarity, since all the revenue that is made, including the number 0 enabled for collaboration with this cause, will go entirely to the collective Kapaces, who will collaborate in the organization of this event.
To close the intense morning of sports and as a colophon of color and joy, the children's races will start at 12:30.
In this sense, from the ADA Yeclano remember that the collection of numbers for the race of children will be made on Saturday from 10 to 14 hours in the Park.
As usual in recent years, the organization encourages all participants in the collection of numbers and at the beginning of the test to deliver non-perishable food for Caritas, and to provide even greater solidarity and relevance to social groups of the municipality, the designed trophies have been elaborated by the wooden workshop of AMPY, in which the dome of La Purísima and the figure of an athlete are represented.
The registration period for the event is still open, organized by the Yeclano Athletics Sports Association in collaboration with the Athletics Federation of the Region of Murcia and the Sports Council of the Hon.
