The Association of Friends of Music of Yecla informs about the ninth concert scheduled in the XVII "Aula de Conciertos" Cycle organized by the School of Music of the Association of Friends of Music of Yecla and the Department of Culture of the City Council of our city.
It will be next Saturday, June 1, at 7:30 pm, in the Auditorium of the School of Music of our city.
This XVII edition has the sponsorship of Duo-Graph, Castaño Family, Arty-Graph, Iberpiano, Juan Palao Peña, Peloton Bus, Daemon 4, YeclaGrafic, Davó and Visual Rotulación.Y as in previous editions, it also has the collaboration of the local media: Onda Regional de Murcia, elperiodicodeyecla.com, Teleyecla, Onda Cero Yecla, Cope Yecla and Siete Días Yecla.
The protagonists of this concert will be the components of the Choir "Voces de Hécula" directed by Pedro Navarro Ruano, and the repertoire will be formed by works of Sacred Polyphony and Profane Polyphony.
The concert will be at 7:30 p.m. in the Auditorium of the School of Music of our city, with free admission to complete the capacity of the same.
A little more about this formation: Born in Yecla (Murcia) in 2009, at the initiative of different people who love choral music, with the only desire to sing together.
His repertoire covers all types of music, from classical polyphony, both religious and profane, through folk or popular music, to the music of our days.
After a period of maturation of the project, in November 2011, he made his presentation in society as a non-profit Cultural Association and Choir.
The choir performs an intense cultural work in their city, participating in various musical events among which highlights, the Mass of December 8, which is held every year at the Basilica of the Immaculate within the acts of the Patron Saint Festivals;
Sacred Concert in Lent;
Concert of Christmas, it even participates in the procession of Holy Tuesday within the acts of the Holy Week of the neighboring town of Jumilla.
In 2012, the choir performs at the Victor Villegas Auditorium in Murcia, invited by the Federation of Choirs of the Region of Murcia (Fecorem), of which it is part as a federated choir.
That same year he was invited to participate in the 1st Coral Meeting of Autumn in Alhama de Murcia.
In 2013 he made a musical exchange with the Choir of the Musical Union of Almansa and the Musical Society Band "San Blas" by Teresa de Cofrentes, performing concerts in Teresa de Cofrentes (Valencia), Almansa (Albacete) and singing a Mass in the Cathedral of Albacete.
In 2014 he was invited to the Valldigna National Choir Meeting, held in Simat de la Valldigna (Valencia) and the VIII Aplec Nadalenc Juan Ramón Herrero of Castellón de la Plana.
Participate in the Symphonic-Choral Concert organized by the Choir "Ambrosio Cotes" of Villena (Alicante) to commemorate the 20th Anniversary of it.
In 2015 he collaborated with the Ambrosio Cotes Choir and the Municipal Band of Villena in the interpretation of the work Queen Symphony.
He is invited to the Coral Encounter of XÃ tiva, organizes his 1st Choral Encounter "Ciudad de Yecla" and is invited to sing at the Center de la Beneficencia de Valencia by the Choir Cantoria Hipponensis in his Christmas Choir.
In 2016 he participated in the San Juan Choral Ensemble organized by the Orfeón de la Mancha (Albacete) and collaborated in the recording of the CD entitled Close to you by the local artist Enrique Soto.
Participate in the commemoration of the 200th anniversary of the Cura Valera in Huércal-Overa (Almeria).
Participate in the Symphonic-Choral Concert of the "Purísima" organized by the "La Purísima" Squad of Yecla, together with the Banda Musical Association of Bocairent (Valencia) and the Almansa Choir, to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the Squad.
In addition, he is invited to participate in the XXIX Encuentro de Corales Santa Cecilia 2016 in Elche by courtesy of the Cor Amics Cantors d'Elx.
In 2017 he performs a concert in Lent in Pinoso (Alicante), organizes his III Choir Encounter "Ciudad de Yecla" and sings in the Jerónimos Church the Real de Madrid.
In 2018 they participate in a choral exchange with the chorus Capella Fontes de Javalí Viejo (Murcia) within the regional choral exchanges organized by Fecorem.
Since 2015 they have organized the Choir Encounter "Ciudad de Yecla", which in this year 2019 will go for its 5th edition.
During this year 2019, the choir celebrates its X anniversary, with different acts among which is the Concert in which participated as guest choir Camerata Lacunensis.
At present, and since its creation, the choir is directed by Pedro Navarro Ruano.
