Javier Limón has composed and produced in more than 100 albums music for more than 1000 artists such as Paco de Lucía, Wynton Marsalhs, Joe Lovano, Gaestano Veloso, Tom Harrel, Alicía Keys, Enrique and Estrella Morente, José Mercé, Bebo Valdés, Diego El Cigala, Mariza or Anoushka Shankar.
This extensive discography has been published by both multinational or independent companies and their own record company CASA LIMÓN where Javier develops special and avant-garde projects, and which has become a hallmark of unquestionable quality.
He has composed and recorded four albums where all the influences received in his productions are reflected.
As an interpreter he has participated in the most important festivals in the world such as North Sea Jazz Festival, Montreux Jazz Festival, Barcelona Jazz Festival, Madrid Jazz Festival, Vitoria Jazz Festival, Midem Festival in Cannes, Istanbul Jazz Fest, Norwich Jazz Fest or Ashdod Mediterrane Fest .
His work also includes compositions for soundtracks from films such as "Welcome Home," "The Carnivorous Crisis," "I just want to walk," "Manolete," "The skin I inhabit."
He has been teaching flamenco and songwriting classes for years at the prestigious University of Berklee College of Music in Boston where he is director of the Mediterranean Music Institute and the BERKLEE LATINO Initiative that develops its activity throughout Latin America.
In 2014 he began to teach master class in music production and composition in different European cities in collaboration with the Cervantes Institute.
He has also developed a career as a communicator in a TV program specialized in music.
In the program ENTRE AGUAS, he traveled all over the world, confronting the great masters of the different styles of BIG music.
