This year the ceremony of the 2019 ARTYA Awards (The Artivist of the Year Awards), presented by ArtTour International Magazine in collaboration with Artists for a Green Planet and Manhattan Neighborhood Network The Firehouse Neighborhood, was held in New York on the 13th December before the cameras of the ArtTour International TV Show produced at the MNN Television Studios located in East Harlem.
The Yeclano artist, having not been able to travel to the United States to collect the award in person, was represented at the gala by Jorge Pérez Rodríguez, who received the award in his name, and by Leyre Oruetxebarria García, members of the Cultural Section of the Consulate General of Spain in New York.
