900 participants have completed the survey on Participatory Budgets, which means doubling the numbers of last year Yeclanos bet on strengthening the areas of Youth and Environment while they believe that Sports is the best equipped with facilities
The mayor of Yecla, Marcos Ortuño has presented at a press conference the results of the consultation that has been carried out to prepare the 2020 Municipal Budget project. A survey in which 900 Yeclanos participated - a number that is important because it doubles the Last year's participation'- said the first mayor of Yeclano.
Among the results shown by the participation of the Yeclanos in this survey that has been carried out over three weeks and in both paper and digital format, it should be noted that 'there is a clear claim that we intensify our investments both in terms of youth and the environment ', said Marcos Ortuño who has informed that the youth facilities will soon be reinforced with the reform of part of the' Hunters' building.
Likewise, the Municipal Government undertakes to include in its Municipal Budgets by 2020 the installation of a stage in the park popularly known as 'El cespín', in which a place will be set up to schedule concerts and activities for young Yeclanos.
In this same survey, 80 percent of the participants have stated that they think that Yecla is a safe or very safe city, just as 62 percent believe that the streets of this city are clean or very clean.
What also emerges from these results is that the Yeclanos want Yecla to have more trees in the urban area.
In matters of transparency, the participants in the survey request that the session increase the information campaigns in local media and the information offered by municipal workers, all this with a remodeling of the municipal website.
"We continue to work to increase the participation of Yeclanos in the drafting of these budgets and our commitment is to include all these requests in the 2020 Municipal Budget project," concluded Marcos Ortuño.
