The Yeclano international marcher pulverized the clock with a time of 41:06 â€, improving in a minute and nine seconds his previous mark in 10km Road march
On Saturday, January 18, the Regional Marching Championship was held in Alguazas (Murcia), a 10km road race, in which the Yeclano international marcher, sponsored by Firenze La Paz Team and Kayas Clinic managed to cross the finish line in the first position, proclaiming himself absolute regional champion.
IVÁN LÓPEZ LEADED THE TEST FROM THE BEGINNING
Iván López began with a frantic pace marked from the beginning of the test, leading alone the ten laps of the route drawn on the Avenida de Europa of the city of Murcia.
The event was not attended by prominent marchers from the region such as Miguel Ángel López or Manuel Bermúdez, however, the Yeclano international marcher and member of FC Barcelona crossed the finish line marking a record of 41:06 â€, getting personal mark in 10km of March in route, reducing the time in a minute and nine seconds of its previous record, a merit that demonstrates the good level of form with which Ivan Lopez begins this new and exciting season, the first as absolute.
NEXT COMPETITION IN TORREVIEJA
Iván López will participate in the 50km March Spanish Championship, to be held on Sunday, February 16, in the Alicante city of Torrevieja.
Although it is not his distance, the Yeclano athlete will compete with the objective of making a good record in the distance of 35 km, depending on the performance and his fitness, he will propose during the same the option of being able to finish this demanding test.
