The Yecla Wine Route in collaboration with the Department of Tourism and the Regulatory Council of the Yecla Designation of Origin have presented the 9th Wine and Tapa Route that will take place between February 18 and March 15.
It has the collaboration of four wineries in our city and 14 establishments.
The 'routers' may collect their passport at any of the associated premises and receive a stamp for each establishment visited.
Once completed, they can deposit them until March 14 at the polls enabled in the different locations.
The indivisible price of a glass of wine (red, pink or white) plus a cap will be 3 euros.
Photographs related to the 9th Wine and Tapa Route can be sent to the email turismo@rutadelvinodeyecla.com indicating name and contact telephone number.
The snapshots will be published on Facebook and every Monday there will be a raffle of two batches of Yecla Wine Route products among the photographs sent during the last seven days.
In addition, for each cover plus glass of wine consumed from Monday to Wednesday, a ballot will be received with the possibility of receiving thousands of prizes, such as free tapas, bottles of wine or discount vouchers at associated wineries and establishments.
Those who complete the passport may vote their preferred cover;
The winning venue will receive the '2020 Gold Barrel'.
They can also choose the establishment with the best service.
Among all the 'routers' who complete the passport a VIP dinner for four people will be raffled in the winning restaurant of this edition and a trip with accommodation included to another Wine Route in Spain.
The 9th Wine and Tapa Route will close on Sunday, March 15 with a party at the Constitution Park from 12:00 noon.
In it the mentioned draws will be made, the '2020 Gold Barrel' will be delivered, dishes, tapas and wines can be tasted at popular prices and a producer of the Yecla Wine Route will be raffled among the attendees.
This 9th edition will have a mobile application in which to consult the map with the different establishments, the tapas, the bases of the different draws and all the information of interest, as well as send anonymous suggestions to the organization of the event.

The Councilor for Tourism, Jesus Verdú, said that the Wine and Tapa Route is "an excellent opportunity to know the wines of Yecla and the quality of our establishments" and has remarked that it is one of the activities with the greatest impact from our city.
He has also invited all interested parties to participate in the Route.
For its part, the president of the Wine Route of Yecla, Aurora Picó, thanked the collaboration of the Department of Tourism and said they hope to exceed last year's figures, when more than 40,000 tapas and wine glasses were served.
