12:18 pm.- Emergency services have rescued an injured hiker on the path that goes up to the Lacrimal Cave in Sierra de Salinas, Yecla
A call from the hiker's companions to 1-1-2 RM warned of an accident, indicating that his ankle had been sprained and he could not move, 2 km from the nature classroom.
The area has immediately moved from P. Civil de Yecla and Environmental Agents in the area, who after locating the hiker, reported that they were going to try to help you get to the nature classroom.
A short time later, and due to the steep terrain and the difficulties in properly supporting the ground, they have requested the intervention of aerial means.
The Helicopter of the General Directorate of Public Safety and Emergencies, with the Air Rescue Group of the Consortium for Fire and Rescue of the Region of Murcia, have moved to the area.
Once the injured man, a 32-year-old man, has been transferred to the helicopter, he has been taken to the Virgen del Castillo de Yecla Hospital.
The wounds he presented in the ankles are pending assessment.
