The Secretary General of the PP, Teodoro García Egea, and the president of the Region of Murcia, Fernando López Miras, held a meeting today with the mayor of Yecla, Marcos Ortuño, and manufacturers of the town mainly related to the furniture sector, who have transformed their businesses to obtain fixed assets for hospitals and the fight against coronavirus.
Specifically, the companies, Colchón Comodon, NZI and Formas de Descanso participated in the meeting.
After a resolution by the government of the Region of Murcia, Yecla companies have reconverted their activity to manufacture sanitary mattresses, articulated beds, masks and face protection screens.
In a few days, this sector has provided more than 400,000 masks for clinical use.
