| The club begins a new stage with a new Board of Directors | Last Sunday, June 28, the Extraordinary General Assembly was held at the club's facilities, on the agenda, the renewal and election of the new Board of Directors, which will manage the club in the next four years.At the beginning of June, the electoral calendar process began, (as it appears in our statutes), with the publication of the list of partners with the right to vote, presentation and approval of candidacies and the deadlines for possible claims.

Once the process had elapsed, the Extraordinary General Assembly was held, which had a large influx of members, where the votes were held to elect the new board of directors.Once the vote was taken, the candidacy presented by Alfredo Ruiz López was chosen to manage the club in the coming years, therefore it was approved and made up of the following members:President: ALFREDO RUIZ LÓPEZVice President: FRANCISCO GÓMEZ PARRASecretary: MŞ DE LOS LLANOS SORIANO ORTEGADeputy Secretary: MIGUEL ÁNGEL PUCHE BAUTISTATreasurer: RAFAEL MARIANO ORTIN TOMÁSVice Treasurer: RICARDO ORTIN TOMÁSVocal 1: ANTONIO SORIANO MORAGÓNVocal 2: ESTHER RUIZ RICOILLUSION AND PROJECTS FOR THE FUTUREThe new Board of Directors chaired by Alfredo Ruiz, faces this new stage with great enthusiasm and working from this very moment on a project that revitalizes and generates a new impetus for this entity, a project that also welcomes the revival of the club as a place a social and recreational meeting for the more than 400 members who, thanks to their support, make it possible for the Yecla Tennis club to have more than 40 years of history in the city of Yecla, being, in turn, a benchmark in the sport of tennis in the region.

In this new stage we also want to have friends and supporters who participate in numerous activities, encouraging everyone to be part of this great social and sports group.Soon we will inform you of the development of the projects that we are designing with the aim of also being able to provide the city of Yecla with projects and events that enrich sports activities in the city.Finally, the elected Board of Directors publicly thanks the work done to the outgoing Board members in recent years for the benefit of the club.OPENING OF THE POOL AND START OF THE SUMMER CAMPUSThe Yecla Tennis Club informs all its members of the opening of the swimming pool since this past weekend, thus starting the summer stage with the operation of the facilities being practically complete.As everyone knows, the health crisis generated by Covid-19 is conditioning the situation in many sectors, which have had to modify daily behaviors based on the application of safety and protection regulations in public spaces.

From the Yecla Tennis Club we work intensively applying these regulations in our facilities with the aim of guaranteeing the necessary protection to all our members and supporters who make use of our facilities this summer, for what we want, despite being aware of that this will be a different summer, to count on your presence and understanding due to the rapid adaptation that we have had to apply in such a short period of time since our recent mandate, wishing all our members a happy summer on the club's premises.MORE THAN 100 STUDENTS PARTICIPATE IN THE SUMMER CAMPUS 2020Last Monday, June 29, a new edition of the Summer Campus began, organized by the club's Tennis and Paddle School, being one of the most participative activities on the annual agenda in our club. Despite the adversities that the Covid-19 health crisis has generated and is generating, from the club we have worked intensively applying all the health regulations so that the Campus could be carried out, something that we have achieved with great effort and enthusiasm and which we have subsequently ratified with the request of more than 100 students who have not hesitated to spend a different summer, full of sports and recreational activities developed by a team of instructors and certified teachers who will work intensively during the month of July for the proper development of Campus programming, always, guaranteeing sanitary protection in open-air facilities suitable to guarantee the established measures and protocols. Finally, we want to thank the students, fathers, mothers and partners for depositing again this year, if possible, more complicated by the Covid-19, their support, understanding and trust in the club.
