to 8:30 p.m.From the Association of Friends of Music of Yecla we believe that it is a good way to finish the course, after these three months of confinement.
Likewise, we think that it is an opportunity to prepare ourselves to face the return to reality in our activities in September and learn to live together in this new normality.CLARINET QUARTET "CLARINET CLASS".The clarinet quartet of the Association of Friends of Music of Yecla originated when several members of the band of that association, had the illusion and curiosity to interpret a type of music different from that performed within the band, since one of the goals of any musician is to play all kinds of music and possible styles. The first steps were taken in the late 80s, but without fixed continuity, being in the 90s, when the quartet was consolidated in a fixed way.
The members who have passed through its ranks are the following: Pedro Francisco Rubio Olivares, José Miguel Azorín Marco, Enrique Ortuño Bañón, Bartolomé Ibáñez Muñoz, Manuel Quíles Carpena, Elías Ibáñez Lax, Alexandra Guillém Hernández and Daniel Martínez Serrano. After a new period of drought, the current formation emerged, which was renamed "CLARINETCLASS".
Their first concerts were in 2003, and their components have been: Elías Ibáñez Lax, Alexandra Guillém Hernández, Ana Cano García, Raúl Rubio Martínez, all of them soprano clarinet in sib and, David Val Palao, Daniel Martínez Serrano and Abel Ortega Muñoz , like bass clarinets. This training is semi-professional, and all the members of the quartet are members of the Acla Band from Yecla and have participated in various concerts, both inside and outside Yecla, such as: "1st Concert Classroom" at CAM , Presentation of the poster for Easter in Yecla, Opening of the school year at the Castillo Puche Institute in Yecla, El Greco resonates .....
etc.The typical line-up is of three soprano clarinet in sib and 1 bass clarinet, using, if the work requires it, the clarinet mib or requinto.
Her repertoire covers any type of music. He participated in the recording of the second volume of the collection "Aires de Yecla" with the name of "Chamber Music" edited by the Association of Friends of Music of Yecla, along with two other chamber groups from that entity. Finally we will say that the purpose that the members of the quartet seek is to have fun playing and, of course, to entertain those who listen to them, their goal being to introduce a little more to an instrument as beautiful as the clarinet, which they both admired and of which a great "unknown" named Mozart even fell in love.
