From Izquierda Unida-Verdes we request that the implementation of a system of prior appointment be studied in the municipality of Yecla to carry out the different procedures that citizens can do in this public administration. Currently, to carry out municipal procedures in person it is necessary to physically queue at the municipal facilities and wait for the corresponding technician to be free.
This is causing crowds of people at the gates of the City Hall at certain times due to the capacity restrictions imposed as a result of the COVID epidemic19.
In addition, the absence of the possibility of taking an appointment can also lead to the fact that citizens make unsuccessful visits to municipal offices with the loss of time and discomfort that this implies. The appointment system has been common for years in other public administrations with a good result.
For example, it is usual to take medical appointments through the mobile in simple steps, reserve a date to renew your ID or get an appointment to carry out procedures at the SEF.
Also, other municipalities, such as Jumilla, have implemented this system.
Thus, this method of citizen service reverts to an evident improvement in the service, a reduction in waiting time and a greater optimization of the technical resources of the City Council.
