The objective is to make the local history and heritage known to the public through a very special common thread, music.The activity consists of the realization of two cultural routes, led by an official tourist guide in which live music will be the link between the various heritage elements of the city of Yecla, revealing their relevance and interest.The project aims in turn to value the importance of the history of music in Yecla, its relevance in past times and today, all with an adapted speech, accommodating the different types of public who want to participate in activity.DIFFERENT GUIDED ROUTES The guided routes proposed in the "El Sonido de Yecla" project are: • Yecla I Sound: Listening to your story.In this route a tour will be made in which music will be the backbone, since it will be the history of local music that makes us stop at the different heritage elements.The route will begin in the vicinity of the Old Church, we will go around the perimeter of it and then descend through the Concejal Sebastián Pérez street until we reach the Plaza Mayor.Once in the Plaza Mayor we will continue with the explanation of the heritage elements and the musical recitals.Once the activity in the Plaza Mayor is finished, we will continue down Hospital street until we reach the Ermita del Hospitalico and later recital in Placeta de Ortega.Once the activity in these areas has ended, the route will continue along Calle España until reaching the Casino Primitivo, the current location of the Association of Friends of Music of Yecla, where the activity will end.• Yecla II Sound: Spaces to listen.In this route a tour will be made in which music will be the backbone, but unlike the previous route, the importance lies in the creation of spaces for the delight of music.The route will begin in the Atrium of the Basilica of the Purísima, with the idea of ??combining the symbolism between the heritage element itself and the musical production dedicated to the city of Yecla.Once the musical recital and the explanation are over, the route will continue along San Francisco street until reaching the Concha Segura Theater.The next stopping point on the route will be the Church of San Roque, so we will go down Calle Miguel Golf.Afterwards, we will continue along San Roque street to the Church of San Francisco and the Parque de la Constitución.Finishing the route at Casino Primitivo, the current location of the Yecla Music Friends Association.THURSDAY, FRIDAY, SATURDAY AND SUNDAY OF AUGUST Visits will take place on the following days of the month of August, from 8:30 pm to 10:00 pm: • Thursday 6, 13 and 20 • Friday 7, 14 and 21 • Saturday 8 and 22 • Sunday 9 and 23 GROUPS LIMITED TO 15 PEOPLE The groups will be made up of a maximum of 15 people, (for the routes to take place a minimum of 8 people will be required).The activity is regulated according to the Covid-19 safety regulations.PRICES, INFORMATION AND RESERVATIONS To carry out the activity, a donation has been established that will go (charitable) to the Association of Friends of Music of Yecla, € 10 for adults and € 7 for children.Reservations must be made through the phone 627 593 866.BOOK YOUR DINNER AFTER THE ROUTE AT THE MUSIC SCHOOL CAFETERIA The Music School cafeteria joins the collaboration of this cultural activity, providing participants who wish to do so with a table reservation for dinner after the end of the tour .GUIDED TOUR SPECIAL MENU 12 € / p.Appetizers: Anchovies with olives Mushroom with green sauce Cheese board with almonds Chaplain with tomato —————— Rustic, toast or sandwich Drink Coffee or infusion RESERVATIONS: 637830527 or 678887281 This activity is organized by the Association of Friends of Music, with the collaboration of Alicia Soriano, Ángel Hernández, Miguel Angel Puche and the Department of Culture of the Hon.
