° 22), coordinated by the professor of the Faculty of Lyrics by José Miguel Noguera Celdrán and by Liborio Ruiz Molina, director of the Municipal Archaeological Museum of Yecla; and edited jointly by EDITUM (Editions of the University of Murcia) and the Yecla City Council.The volume contains the proceedings of the IX International Meeting of Roman Sculpture in Hispania, held in Yecla between March 27 and 29, 2019, and includes a total of 28 works dedicated to presenting novelties in the field of Hispanic-Roman sculpture, as well as from Italy and Greece.
The authors, 48 ??in total, are renowned specialists from universities and research centers in Spain, Portugal and Italy.This volume is part of one of the priority lines of research developed by the Archeology area of ??the University of Murcia, from where the international project Corpus Signorum Imperii Romani-Spain is coordinated, dedicated to the cataloging of sculptures from the Roman Empire.The book will be presented by Professor Pedro Rodríguez Oliva, Emeritus Professor of Archeology at the University of Malaga.
Likewise, Francisco Javier Martínez Méndez, vice-rector for Quality, Culture and Communication of the UMU; Jesús Verdú García, delegate councilor for Culture, Tourism and Environment of the Yecla City Council, Rosana López Carreño, director of EDITUM and the scientific editors of the book.
