The events took place when a motorcyclist patrol from the Cieza Traffic Detachment, which was conducting an alcohol and drug checkpoint on the RM-425 highway, Yecla municipality, controlled a passenger. The owner of the vehicle, a 48-year-old male, Spanish, resident of Villena (Alicante) has been investigated as the alleged perpetrator of the crime of falsification of documents, for the use of false certification related to the unauthorized use of the official mark of having passed the periodic Inspection favorably Vehicle Technique (ITV), apparently in order to go unnoticed by the police action and not be reported for driving with the ITV expired.
