Members of the Infomur Plan to fight forest fires this morning put out a fire declared on agricultural land (although close to a forest area) in the area known as Hoya del Mollidal, in the municipality of Yecla.
The 1-1-2 received a call reporting the fire at 10:08 am.
The caller indicated that the fire affected abandoned cereal crops and that it was close to nearby houses and the mountain.
The local police patrol, the area's environmental agent, a forest brigade and firefighters from the Murcia Region Fire Extinction and Rescue Consortium were mobilized to the site.
At 11.20 it was controlled and at 12.20 it was considered extinct.
It has affected 1 hectare of agricultural land.
