The City is confident after this meeting that the CHS will do everything necessary to allow urgently open a new well
The mayor, Juan Miguel Benedito, convened the Board of Spokesmen for local groups to a meeting tomorrow to inform them of the meeting that the City Council and CHS have remained today in the context of the work being carried out to ensure supply.
From a technical report of the drinking water concession in April revealed a significant decrease in reserves, the government team has had several meetings with the CHS, the body responsible for the sources supplying water to the city to obtain permits necessary to ensure the supply by opening a new well.
The City Council has for several years at CHS requesting permission to open a new well that would ensure supply in emergency situations.
The meeting this morning with the president of the CHS, Charo Quesada, was led by the council by the first deputy mayor, Mark Ortuño, who accompanied him several municipal technicians.
Ortuño points, after the meeting, the full confidence that the CHS will do everything necessary to allow it to open soon with a new well to ensure drinking water supply.
