The Governing Council has approved the extension of the agreement between the Ministry of Education and Universities and the Association for people with autism spectrum TEA-YECLA disorder for the delivery and development of the integration program with children affected with autism spectrum disorder in schools .
So, are recipients of the integration program affected students with autism spectrum disorder that prior authorization from the school and families affected, agreed jointly between the Ministry and Tea Yecla.
the extension for two years is provided, since August 1, 2016 until July 30, 2018
The Community develops actions to help improve the educational care of students with special needs and has a protocol coordination of educational and health measures for early detection and intervention in Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), which was launched three years ago to this problem detection and quick access to diagnostic confirmation and early treatment from the Murciano Health Service.
Currently, there are 2,447 students inthe region with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), of which 451 are Child, 1,377 primary, 484 secondary and 135 studying in school and vocational training.
