The Department of Social Policy said that is activated again this project aimed at people with intellectual disabilities who launched first in 2015 being framed within the special plan of inclusion, promotion and social reintegration.
The main objective is to facilitate their social and labor integration through a training and occupational experience in a standardized environment.
There are 6 people involved in this project with aged between 30 and 40 years.
The requirements of being registered in Yecla, had to be registered as job seekers at the Employment Service and Training, SEF.
These beneficiaries will develop practices during July for 3 hours a day, alternating with training in social and labor skills in jobs related to gardening, janitor, cleaning, laborer maintenance, laborer works, administrative assistant and auxiliary support .
Of these six people in initial training woodcock, three will be hired.
They will have a job coach support to teach them specific work habits of the job and work skills.
Once incorporated with the employment contract will be 4 hours per day that continue to alternate with training.
Labor guardians will receive prior and specific information on disability.
The employment of people with disabilities and consequently their social inclusion, is still pending.
People with intellectual disabilities, belong to a group at high risk of social exclusion due to unequal opportunities especially in the field of training and employment.
Therefore, from the City of Yecla is intended to give a boost to this group.
