The mayor of Yecla, Marcos Ortuño, visited the school Herratillas and recalled that during the last few weeks, there has been improvement and maintenance works in different schools for a total amount of nearly 120 thousand euros.
Normality is the characteristic note at the beginning of the school year 2016/2017 in Yecla for more than 3,500 students attending eleven schools nursery and primary schools, as explained by the Mayor of Yecla, Marcos Ortuño, who has visited together councilman Works, Ascensio Juan, the school Herrratillas of Yecla.
The mayor pointed out that during the last few weeks, taking advantage of the summer holidays, there has been improvement and maintenance works in different schools for an amount of about 120 thousand euros.
He stressed the refurbishment of the toilets of the school Herratillas, changing pavement gym or remodeling in the schoolyard Alfonso X the Wise, or arrangement of the sports in school La Pedrera.
They have also been painted classrooms in different schools as Herratillas, El Alba, or Méndez Núñez.
Finally he expressed his wish that this normality is the keynote for the new school year has started today.
