The implementation of this project will mean real savings for municipal coffers over € 100,000 per year.
As we announced at the beginning of September, the City of Yecla has launched a project for change 2,000 lights in the town center.
To date it made the change and installation of approximately 1,600 of these luminaries pending 400 that will be a reality during the month of November.
The first effect of the implementation of this project will reach city coffers with a monthly savings of more than 1,000 euros motivated by the loss of the contracted power, in total about 80 Kw.
Take for example the area of ​​Alameda, where last year a pilot test of these luminaries whose installation was actual results represent an annual savings of € 16.490,92, 80.6% of the total energy savings of 86,111 kWh , 76%.
This facility, according to the Councillor for Public Services, Ascensio Juan, "had a budget of € 42,000 so amortize this installation in just two and a half years."
Extrapolating these data to the actual installation is currently running, energy savings will be located next to 1,000,000 kwh and will exceed € 100,000 economic savings.
