Caritas Interparroquial of Yecla offer home users host a better stay after the reform in the bathroom, kitchen and hallway access to premises.
The property, located on the street Felix Rodriguez de la Fuente provides accommodation to thirty people each year who are passing through the town and lack of economic resources.
The work, carried out for three weeks, has completely renovated facilities of electricity and water in the kitchen and bathroom.
In the latter it has changed the location of sanitary parts for better use of space and has been tiled stay.
It has also changed floors, doors, windows and appliances and moved the heater to the inner courtyard, in addition to renewing the kitchen furniture.
"The reform substantially improves the habitability of the house of passersby, who was in a very poor state," says the director of Caritas Interparroquial of Yecla, José María Alonso.
The charity has assumed the cost of the reform by MACE Group, whereas this, in turn, has donated building materials valued at € 2,000.
In addition, workers have agreed to collaborate to promote a domestic collection for the purchase of small appliances and food.
The yeclano group has also developed the technical project and has processed municipal permits.
In the house, owned by Caritas Interparroquial of Yecla, collaborates a volunteer who reside in it permanently.
Users get to it, derived from the parishes, local or national police, with whom he has defined a protocol and can sleep up to three days.
There you can wash, wash their clothes and come with a kitchen equipped with basic food.
The company also provides other community services such as collection and delivery of food and clothing and training workshops.
