The Councilor for Social Policy, Remedios Lajara has attended the presentation of the Fifth Dance Festival to benefit the Association for the rehabilitation of problems with alcohol, drugs and other addictive behaviors (ARY) to be held on Sunday 20 Of November, at 18:00 hours, in the Theater "Concha Segura"
Salvador Pérez, Presenter of ARY, explained that there is a collaboration of the Yecla Dance Academies (Sheila Cortes, Lucasport, Step by Step, Cris Dance and Conchi Bañon), and dance groups from Villena, Sax, Benejama and Bañeres, to whom I especially thanked their collaboration.
With this event, it is intended to raise funds to continue attending to the programs of care and prevention carried out by this association, as explained by its president.
Through this playful activity, they also pretend that the population breaks the barriers that prevent it from approaching ARY in the case that they need their services.

In its 25 years of existence, ARY has expanded its scope of coverage to people with problems with drugs and other addictive behaviors, such as gambling, as well as the problems that originate it: rehabilitation of people with problems with alcohol.
Mónica Palao, a psychologist from ARY, explained that this year the demand for her services has continued to grow, since more than 1,700 people have already been cared for, depending on individual or group therapies.
It treats both patients and relatives, who in many cases are very affected by the family consequences that originate.
