In the afternoon of Thursday, November 17, the raffle was made to elect the representative of the Carnival 2017 parties. Among the five candidates presented, four women and one man, the chosen one by lottery was Esther Soriano Ortuño.
Esther Soriano Ortuño is a member of the Peña "La Guasa", one of the oldest clubs of the Carnival in Yecla that, precisely in 2017, celebrates its 25th anniversary.
In this meeting, also the 5 new rocks that participated for the first time in the Carnival 2017 were announced:
- If I do not go out, I'll get something.
- The Olympo.
- Deja vu.
- The Offset.
- To the sound of Carnival.
From the Department of Culture and Celebrations express the most sincere congratulations to the Queen-elect of Carnival 2017, Esther Soriano Ortuño and thank the work to the 19 clubs that next year will participate in our carnival.
