The Department of Public Services reports that the National Institute of Meteorology predicts strong frost in Yecla, up to 4 degrees below zero, for next week's nights.
These low temperatures can freeze the water in unprotected counters and pipes, even breaking down with the subsequent water leakage after the thaw.
For this reason it is recommended to protect faucets, terraced pipes, surface drip irrigation, counters and in general all types of outdoor water installations, with some type of insulation (plastics, fabric, etc.) or Evacuate in order to avoid breakages and leaks.
It is also highly recommended that these days check these types of facilities daily, either in the city or in the field, to check that there are no breaks.
Finally it is recommended to avoid throwing water on sidewalks, ramps and accesses, to avoid accidents due to falls of pedestrians.
