We start a less intense month for the Running Mountain 2016/17.
And this, because February will bring us up to three appointments with the mountain racing circuit of the Region of Murcia, the last of them on Saturday 25 in the framework of UTY2017, VII Ultra Trail Back to the End of Yecla.
An appointment that, this year, will also host in the Tinto modality the Championship of the Region of Absolute Murcia of Ultra Trail, in which the athletes with FAMU license or carnet + Deporte in force will be able to participate and whose regional champions will receive that personalized jersey.
Two rendezvous dates will be developed in the Running Mountain, with the Tomillo Trail (22.9km + 1.284m of difference) and the aforementioned Tinto Trail (58km + 2,500m of difference).
The Tomillo Trail will be a nice circular route along paths and tracks around the Sierra Salinas Nature Hall, where the exit and the goal will be located, starting at 10:00 a.m.
For its part, the Tinto Trail will have the same starting point and goal, although it will also extend along the Yeclana hamlet of Raspay, the Sierra del Carche or the Sierra de las Pansas, until returning to the Aula de la Naturaleza Sierra Salinas, starting at 8:00 a.m.
Of that Saturday 25 of February.
The registration deadline for both events continues, under the organization of the Yecla Fondistas Club in collaboration with the Hon.
Yecla City Hall and its Municipal Sports Service, as well as the Federations of Athletics and Mountain of the Region of Murcia, through the registration platform of the FAMU (http://www.famu.es/entries/step_one/480 ) Until February 14 at 23:00.
For payments by bank transfer or deposit, and on February 21 at 20:00.
For card payments (POS), or up to 200 enrolled in the Thyme Trail and the 125 in the Tinto Trail.
In the case of Thyme Trail, the cost of these until February 12 is € 20 (€ 17 for athletes with FAMU, mountain, cycling and / or triathlon), increasing by € 3 from 13 to 21 February and being in that case 23 € (20 € athletes with one of the aforementioned licenses).
Meanwhile, the cost of registration on the Tinto Trail will be € 37 (€ 34 FAMU, mountain, cycling and / or triathlon athletes) on the 12 th day, with € 13 (€ 39) being € 13 Without any registration after the deadline or the day of the test.
The ridges for the Thyme Trail can be collected at the exit area (Coto Salinas Nature Hall) from 8:00 a.m.
And up to 30 minutes before departure, being available in the case of the Tinto Trail from 6:30 p.m.
And also up to 30 minutes before the start.
In both cases, it is necessary to show the ID or identity document for collection, as well as a license in force in the case of the athletes who opt for the discount.
There will be trophies for the top three overall qualifiers (both male and female) and for the first three of each of the established categories, in the Thyme and Tinto Trail.
All participants will receive a complete bag of the runner, receiving up to a vest in the case of those enrolled in the Tinto Trail.
In the case of the Thyme Trail, the absolute male and female winners will also receive a conch chair, blanket and wine bottle, courtesy of Fama Sofás and Bodegas Castaño.
Meanwhile, the absolute runners-up will have a ham, blanket and wine, courtesy of Holistik Center, Fama Sofas and Bodegas Castaño, while the third classified of the general will receive cheese, blanket and wine, given by Enrique González, Fama Sofas and Bodegas Brown.
Identical gifts will receive the first three absolutes on the Tinto Trail, with the exception that the winners will be presented, in this case, with a Kim type chair, courtesy of Fama Sofas.
Also worthy of note is the clear solidarity of the event, whose part of the inscription is destined for the "Now More Than Ever" Red Cross project and the Yecla "SPANDY" Animal Protection Society.
In addition, Red Cross Yecla collaborates in a collection of food and donations that will be delivered to this entity.
