Yecla will host an international seminar of the Villas Romanas de Hispania to be held from 19 to 21 October 2017, included in the program of the 34th edition of the International University of the Sea, which was presented yesterday in Cartagena, with the assistance of Councilor for Culture of the City of Yecla, Jesús Verdú.
The seminar will offer the possibility of studying the Roman villas of Hispania, its projects of value and musealization.
Also the new archaeological finds of the Roman town of Los Torrejones de Yecla will be studied.
It is aimed at graduates, graduates and university students in humanistic disciplines and the public in general interested in expanding knowledge about history, archeology and cultural heritage.
Around 3,500 students, divided into 90 courses, expect to reach the Polytechnic Universities of Cartagena and Murcia through this year's program of the International University of the Sea
A total of 17 municipalities throughout the Region will participate in UNIMAR courses, together with the dependencies of the Ministry of Defense and the sponsors Banco Santander, Fundación Cajamurcia and CAJAMAR.
