The livestock company Cefusa has presented this morning before the town council of Montealegre del Castillo (Albacete), a letter by which desist from the current License of Works and Requested Activities of the Project of Porcine Holdings of Production and Recruitment of Breeders Genetic Selection, located on the Las Ramblas estate in the town of La Mancha.
The company has valued the opposition of both the local political groups of Yecla and the platform created against this project, despite the fact that entrepreneurship meets all the most demanding legal requirements of the European Union, as well as the requirements of the technologies the most advanced in existence today.
Cefusa, which has a long business experience, assures that the project guarantees the total absence of discomfort to visitors to Mount Arabí and any damage to this natural site, its aquifers and the inhabitants of the surroundings, with the use of such technologies and the measures contemplated in the Integrated Environmental Authorization.
Cefusa is part of Grupo Fuertes, a corporate holding company that employs more than 6,000 people directly and more than 30,000 indirectly.
