The popular parliamentary group has obtained the support of the plenary of the Regional Assembly so that the elaboration of the Plan of Management of the Monte Arabí of Yecla is through a participatory process, according to defended the popular deputy of Yecla, Marcos Ortuño, we must count on the opinion of both the city council and the Platform "Save the Arabí," he said.
Ortuño has remarked from the parliamentary gallery the monumental and environmental value of the only natural monument we have in the Region of Murcia.
And it has defended the convenience of elaborating a Management Plan of the Mount Arabí, something that already we asked for from the city council and we know that the Autonomous Community is already working on the document.
The beginning of a participatory process is the contribution through an amendment of addition that the Popular Party has made to the motion that the plenary of the Regional Assembly has approved with the support of all the parliamentary groups directed to elaborate and to approve the said Plan of Management.
Ortuño has remembered that the Popular Party acquired Monte Arabí and protected it by means of an ordinance.
The popular deputy and councilor of Yecla recalled that there is no longer a threat of installing a large swine in the vicinity of Mount Arabí once the company has withdrawn from the license to the Montelaegre del Castillo town hall.
