The Minister of Family and Equal Opportunities, Violante Tomás, signed today with the mayor of Yecla, Marcos Ortuño, the agreement between the Autonomous Community, through the Murciano Institute of Social Action, and the City of Yecla for the provision of service home help for dependents, amounting to 777,546 euros.
The provision foreseen corresponds to the annuities 2017, 2018 and until March 31, 2019.
The financing will be allocated to personal care services aimed at promoting autonomy and promoting adequate habits and basic skills, as well as for actions at the homes of people in situations of dependency, in order to meet the needs of their daily lives.
These are professional services related to household or household needs: cleaning, washing, cooking or others, such as personal attention.
"In the continuous improvement that we carry out to care for dependents, the Home Help Service of the Unit has been extended to all the municipalities that have requested it: Totana, Águilas, Alhama de Murcia, San Pedro del Pinatar, Murcia, Archena, Mazarrón, Yecla and Lorca, which are added to the existing ones of Abarán, Alcantarilla and Puerto Lumbreras, "said the counselor.
The 2018 budget includes an allocation of 1.3 million to start the processing of new agreements with other municipalities.
