The Association of Friends of Music of Yecla informs that six students of the School of Music of our city will participate in the VI Contest of Young Performers "Villa de Molina" 2018.
This contest has been called since 2008 to "contribute to the emergence of student talent, stimulate young fans and bring music closer to society".
In addition, this year 2018 celebrates its sixth edition and has the modalities of piano, string, wind-wood, wind-metal, percussion, guitar and singing.
The tests of the previous and final phases will take place between the months of March and May in the Mudem and the final gala will be held at the Villa de Molina Theater on May 25.
And among the list of admitted are six students of the School of Music of the Association of Friends of Music of Yecla, they are: Juan Manuel Palao Pérez (percussion), Yeison Gómez Correa (tuba), Alejandro Pacheco Juan (trumpet) , Paula Soriano Ibáñez (saxophone), José Manuel Atienza Giménez (saxophone) and Raquel Ortega Juan (transverse flautra).
In addition, and in preparation for the contest, these young musicians will hold a concert of preparation on Thursday, March 8, at 8:30 pm, in the Auditorium of the School of Music of Yecla.
