Yecla City Council will enable a new heap, next to the currently existing, adapted to the new regulations governing the production and management of construction waste and demolition.
On yesterday, Alderman Utilities, Antonio Puche, accompanied by a municipal, met in Murcia with the Director General of Planning, Evaluation and Environmental Control, Francisco José García Espejo in which the creation of this study new heap, that they are now called treatment centers and recovery of waste from construction and demolition (RCD).
This new plant should comply with the RD 105/2008 which regulates the production and management of these wastes, so that the plant would have a selection process for the various waste as graded aggregates, gravel, etc ...
aside other types of waste that can not be reused later.
The City Council is already doing a first technical document that considers the various options and quantify the investment required to obtain environmental permits precise assessment of the whole work and installation.
In this regard, the meeting held yesterday, was agreed to seek ways of financing investment through European Funds.
The new dump would be located on the grounds that the City acquired earlier this year by the current heap.
